Today's post is going to be a first impression of some new beauty products that I've tried out recently.
The first one being the Flower Beauty Creme Eyeshadow which I'm wearing in the shade CE8 Awesome Blossom. I haven't worn a cream eyeshadow in the longest time, probably since high school. And at the time, the cream eyeshadow was in my favourite shade of all time - a really nice reddish bronze. The biggest problem I had with that shadow though, was that it would crease like crazy. So, I was kind of excited to try out the Flower Beauty Crème Eyeshadow because it claimed to be long-wearing, and to set set without creasing. Thankfully, it lives up to it's claims. This eyeshadow applies very creamy, sets without creasing, and lasts all day. It's all you would ever need out of this type of product.
Next up is the Flower Beauty Velvet Lip Chubby in the shade Coral Floral. This product is not glossy but also not so matte, I find it to be very moisturizing for the lips. Also, I really enjoy the colour pay-off. I had been looking for the perfect coral lip colour for the longest time and could never find the right one. And although it is winter now and the beauty world tends to wear a darker lip, I still think this shade will be wearable during fall/winter.
The last product is the Skone Cosmetics Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner which I received in my October Ipsy Glam Bag. I'm always excited to try out new eyeliner because I haven't yet found my favourite one and I have to say this might be the one. This eyeliner is really inky black, has a really thin felt tip, and applies very easily. It's perfect for someone like me who tends to mess up their eyeliner on a regular basis.

In an attempt to have more regular content on my blog, I've decided to start a new series of posts called "Melissa's Beauty Bite". Each week I will posting about one or two new products that I've tried or have been loving recently.
So, recently I was in my Wal-Mart browsing through the cosmetics section and I noticed that Flower Beauty had finally made it's way over to Canada. I first become aware of Flower Beauty through a video by Judy from ItsJudyTime and I was really interested to try some of the products out. So I picked out three things from the Flower Beauty range, a Velvet Lip Chubby, a creme eyeshadow and a nail polish.
There were about 6 or 7 shades of nail polish to choose from and I had a hard time deciding which colour I wanted to try out first but I decided to settle with a nice purple shade called Pansy Shmansy. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this nail polish is. First of all, the brush is neither too small or too large. It's just the right size to make applying the nail polish very simple, although, of course, the nails on my right hand still looked significantly worse than the ones on my right #manicureproblems. Also, the best thing about this polish is that the formula is very thick. You only need one coat to get the same intensity of colour that you see in the bottle. In my opinion, it's always better to use one coat of polish because your nail colour will last longer without chipping.
All in all, I'm very happy with my first experience with Flower Beauty and I'm excited to try out the other products.
