So I woke up this morning and found this gift from Sugarlips waiting for me in the mailbox this morning. This top looks so much more beautiful in person than it does in photos. I couldn't wait to shoot it so I took a walk down by the lake and snapped these photos.
This top is currently out of stock on the website but Sugarlips has so many more amazing goodies for you to find, so you should definitely check them out.
I find that stripes will make anything infinitely chicer (is that a word?). Try it, you'll see, I'm right.
So when I had the opportunity to pick something from my new sponsor Stylezi of course I chose this top.
A new trend popping up all over the blogosphere are ankle cuffs. Not just reserved for your wrists, your ankles can now get in on the cuff action as well. If you're on board with this trend, you can have your ankles shining too with these, or these from ASOS.
I was invited to a preview of the F/W 12 collections of Denis Gagnon, Sarah Stevenson and Emily Woudenberg held last night at Homegrown Boutique.
Denis Gagnon's Fall collection used mostly black with strategic placements of leather embellishments. I absolutely love his use of leather and wouldn't mind having that dress in the second picture hanging in my closet. Also, this collection marked his return to menswear after 8 years of only showing womenswear.
Sarah Stevenson's collection was full of amazingly beautiful patterns. Blouses were semi-sheer and lightweight and skirts were made with floaty fabric in asymmetrical cuts.
This year's Passion for Fashion award winner Emily Woudenberg was also there to showcase her pieces. The pieces are beautifully handcrafted using materials like leather, semi-precious beads and metal.
