So my mom's been taking this cake decorating course at Michael's and every Tuesday she comes home all excited and practices her cake decorating skills up until 1:00 in the morning. Today was the 'final exam' for part 2 of the course and she had to put together all the things she had learned in this part of the course into one cake. And she proudly showed me her certificate when she came home today.
Anyway when she came home, there were a lot of leftover flowers because she didn't have time to put all of them on the cake in class so I got to put the finishing touches on the cake. I feel so proud of myself.
So as I was going to bed last night I took a peek out of my window and what did I see? Snow. There was a nice blanket of snow covering everything. I love it when I get to see snow like this, without a footprint or a tire track running through it. I really wished at that moment that I could take a picture of it but I couldn't, as my digital camera doesn't work properly anymore. So there is no picture for you and I guess you will have to use your imagination. This brings me to my christmas wish list.....
I've been a good girl this year and if by chance you are reading this blog, what I would really love to receive this Christmas is a new camera. Preferably this Nikon coolpix P90.
So I have two exams next week and then the Christmas holidays officially start for me yipee! But I am already feeling in the Christmas spirit. I mean it's hard not to when radio stations start playing Christmas music in November and those same Christmas movies they play every year start playing on TV (Last night I watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas").

So happy when I stumbled across the Igor + Andre blog. Danny Roberts creates such beautiful artwork, it makes me want to get to my sketchbook and practice practice practice so that I can have a fraction of the talent that he has.
